Structural Engineering is a discipline in which art, science, and engineering experience combine such that the practicing engineer is able to develop a structural system design which optimizes safety, economy, aesthetics, and functionality, based on the scientific principles of material strength, force analysis, and serviceability.

Our engineers are experienced in designing and evaluating steel, reinforced concrete, timber and composite structures which have included buildings, bridges, earth retaining structures, and liquid retaining structures. Our engineers have designed and evaluated structures for residential, commercial and industrial clients, utilizing the most current local, state and national building codes. Combining our broad structural engineering experience with state of the art computer based design and analysis tools, our engineers are able to satisfy our clients’ needs while producing safe, economical and aesthetic structural designs.

The primary areas which involve structural engineering are:

Buildings

Bridges

Retaining Structures

Other Types of Structures
