Privatization

When public environmental projects get turned over to private companies, engineers will be involved to ensure that technical requirements, like proposed site modifications, are met quickly and smoothly. This will ensure the public that the project will continue to operate as it has under public control. As a consultant, an engineer will review a company’s capabilities to operate the formerly public project properly, with due regard for the public safety.
